Have you ever wanted to make a Judy Niemeyer quilt but were too intimidated by the lengthy instructions and extensive paper piecing techniques? This 2-Day entry level friendly approach workshop will teach you everything you need to know to read Quiltworx patterns, understand Judy’s paper-piecing techniques and organizational methods, as well as complete a 40” x 40” wall hanging top – The Lotus Flower.

Finished size: 40″ x 40″

Day 1 will introduce you to the tools and techniques used in making a Quiltworx quilt. From the basics of how to read the instructional booklets that are packaged in each Quiltworx pattern to cutting out fabric layout sheets and the paper piecing newsprint that is used for accurate sewing. We will practice on mock projects and learn everything needed to complete a Quiltworx by Judy Niemeyer pattern.
