Even if you don’t sew, if you can color in a coloring book you can color on fabric! Here is the best part of this class: you just show up!
This Embroidery Library design has two versions – a Sewing Room or a Quilting Room. The 16 x 16 inch block can be colored either with fabric markers (recommended for beginners) or a variety of Inktense and watercolor pencils (for students comfortable coloring on fabric). This is a class for both beginners and experienced students.
You will learn several basic techniques on how to color on fabric as well as how to bling your block (if you so choose). When the class is done you will have a beautiful block to use in a quilt, pillow or on a bag!
Supplies:
All Supplies are included in the cost of the class!
All supplies will be provided by Medina Domestic Arts Studio and will include a stitched 16 x 16 inch block on cotton sateen; all coloring tools including but not limited to Inktense pencils, fabric paint, fabric markers and tinted fabric medium; brushes and bling for coloring. If students wish to purchase the actual coloring kit, it will be $15.00 extra and will include all the necessary coloring tools to finish this block.
