Learn to make this spectacular QUEEN OF THE NIGHT 80” x 80” Judy Niemeyer QUILTWORX quilt over 4 monthly Saturday Class Sessions with Quiltworx Certified Instructor and Riley Blake Designer Michael Davison.
Using the Judy Niemeyer system of organization and foundation paper piecing, you will learn how to create crisp sharp spikes, perfectly pointed flying geese, and flat curved seams. You will also learn Judy’s checkerboard technique as well as curved paper piecing.
The class series is broken down into manageable chunks so that you can concentrate on learning in class then go home to finish the section prior to the next class.
There is also a Any Judy & More Workday scheduled every Friday prior to the class if you would like to prepare ahead or catch up or otherwise get assistance from Michael the day before the class.
Buy and use your own fabrics according to the pattern’s sample yardage chart or check michaelquilts.com/shop or other Quiltworx shops online to see if there are any Queen of the Night fabric kits available for purchase.
If you have a Quiltster account (web-based quilt coloring app) or want to sign up for a Quiltster account, you can color your own Queen of the Night project with fabrics you like and purchase those fabrics from your favorite quilt shop. http://www.quiltster.com
